Freshly Picked Review + Giveaway!

Hello friends,

You may have heard of Freshly Picked Moccasins. They are adorning the cutest feet all over. I was so excited to be able to review a pair of these moccasins for Ada. And I am happy to report, they are worth the hype!

I ordered her moccasins in platinum, thinking versatility! They go with everything. There are so many color choices, if you are looking for something gender neutral, or boyish, or girly, you will be able to find the perfect color to fit your little.

See! I told you! Adorable.

The moccasins came in a sweet little shoe bag, perfect for keeping them in after Ada outgrows them. One of my favorite things about these moccs is they actually stay on feet! When Lylah was younger, I tried every shoe possible, with no luck. She could get anything off. The leather is so soft, and the sizing on the website was easy peasy. Ada is a 2, tiny little toes!

If you aren’t familiar with how Freshly Picked was started, please read Susan’s story here. It’s such an inspiring story, especially to this small business owner.

Ada Lou is not quite walking yet, but I know what will be on her feet when she does start. I’ll admit, I’m hooked. The most adorable shoe ever!

If you would like a pair of moccasins for your baby, please head over to my instagram account for details on how to win a pair of these adorable shoes AND a baby bonnet from yours truly. Sweetness from head to toe!

Lots of exciting thing happening around here.  I am busy as a bee getting ready for summer shows, and I am so excited to be rolling out new products as well!  Here is my new boys bonnet, available in my shop.  The fabric I found for this is to die for.  It is a linen, and colors are even sweeter in person.

This means I am working ahead towards Fall/Winter bonnets. Seems odd when it’s 80 degrees out, with fall off in the long distance. We haven’t even hit the pool yet, but I am ready for fall. Summer is great, but there is nothing better than a cool crisp fall day! Until then, I’ll be knitting away.

Spreading Christmas Cheer – Giveaway

I mentioned last week, I would be having a give away this week. I am partnering up with the folks at What to Expect for a gigantic give away. If you have had children in the past, or plan to in the future, listen up! When I was pregnant with my teenager – I read What to Expect When You’re Expecting. I read and re-read every day. It was my go to book. A couple years ago when I found out I was expecting again, I went straight to Target and picked up a new copy. I was surprised to see that there were many new books in the series, including What to Expect Before You’re expecting, and What to expect the first year. These books are so easy to read, and so informative. whattoexpect-1.com-122

So….Here’s the details. You will get TWO packages. One from me – One from What to Expect. These packages will include ALL THREE books mentioned above from the What to Expect series, and also, from LylahG – a festive newborn size holly berry hat. Holly_2
